Select (traveling/competitive) Teams Tryouts for the 2010/2011 Select Competitive Puma teams have ended and the teams have been formed. We hope to see you next year if you are interested in attending tryouts for a team.

CYSA has several divisions of soccer: Division 1 (Competitive)
Division 3 (Competitive)
Division 4 (Recreational, non traveling)
Division 5 (TOPS, athletes with special needs) UVYSL has teams in:
Division 1 & 3 (Select Teams, Ukiah Pumas) UVYSL also has division 1 and division 3 teams, the Ukiah Pumas. Each season UVYSL has between 5-12 Select Teams for both boys and girls. Ages ranging from 9-19. Players must tryout for these teams. Select Teams are competitive and travel within District V in Northern California as well as competeing in various tournaments. Competitive teams keep stats and may advance to compete in State or Association Cups. The goal of division 1 & 3 teams is develop more advanced players in a higher level of play. Division 4 (Recreational, non traveling) Division 4, commonly referred to as "recreational soccer", only travel within specific leagues and do not keep stats. UVYSL has over 100 division 4 teams. Ages ranging from 4-14. The goal of division 4 teams is to have a soccer program that all children can participate in.
Select Teams also play in tournaments and jamborees. Join UVYSL in July 2010 for the Tournament hosted by the Ukiah Pumas.
