Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to register? 
$55 for 1st child, $50 for each additional sibling.

How much do uniforms cost?
Uniforms are $25, which comes with a reversible shirt, shorts and 2 pairs of socks.

Do you offer scholarships?
Scholarships applications are available at walk-in registration.  Proof of income is required.  Act quickly though, as scholarships are limited.

Is my child old enough to play?
Anyone born in 2003 through 2014 is eligible to register.

What do I need to bring?
1. If your child has not played for UVYSL you will need to bring a birth certificate or U.S passport to show proof of birth.
2.  If your child is in age divisions U8, U10, U12 and U16, you must bring an ID size photo to registration for their required player pass. Player passes are identification for the referee.  Player passes will be made by the League.
3.  Payment: Cash or Check Only
Please note- Application cannot be accepted without the proper documentation listed above.

Can I choose what team my child is on?
Recreational teams are formed by placing the child of a coach, assistance coach, team sponsor and team parent on the same team.  After that, players are dispersed randomly by the League;  the only exception being for Anderson Valley players and Potter Valley players (when there are enough to field an entire team), and siblings within the same age division.
As always, UVYSL does not honor requests for coaches or teammates without volunteering; it is impossible to satisfy everyone’s requests.

What is your refund policy?
As per a motion passed by the Board in August 2007, all refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with amounts refunded being dependent on the date mailed and fees incurred by the League.   No refunds will be given after the first day of play.  Refund requests must be in writing and  mailed   into the League.
